Some of the best ideas are born out of everyday life — quiet moments, new challenges, and the unexpected spark of inspiration. For me, it all started with paper.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve been drawn to notebooks, planners, and journals. I collected them not just to use, but because they were beautiful. A blank page always felt like magic — a place where ideas, dreams, and plans could begin to take shape.

A New Life – and Finding Myself Again

In 2019, I became a mom. Life changed in all the big, beautiful, and overwhelming ways. I was craving some kind of order, some space that belonged just to me — something creative, calming, and grounding in the middle of sleepless nights and new routines.

That’s when I discovered the planner community on Instagram. Suddenly, I wasn’t alone in my obsession with paper and planners. I found people who were just as passionate about making lists, decorating layouts, and setting gentle goals. That community became my sanctuary. It reminded me that even in the chaos of new motherhood, I could still carve out moments for myself.

Rediscovering the Magic of Planning

I loved the idea of combining creativity with organization, but something was missing. I couldn’t find the perfect planner — the one that balanced function and beauty, that made organization feel exciting rather than overwhelming.

So, I started creating my own printable inserts. Simple, thoughtful designs that reflected what I needed at that moment in life.

From Quiet Passion to Bold Idea

And then it hit me — why not share them with others?

That simple thought turned into sleepless nights of sketching, experimenting, and learning everything I could about printable planner inserts and design. I had no background in business or product creation — just a heart full of ideas and a belief that planning should feel inspiring, not like a chore.

A Leap of Faith (on My Birthday)

In July 2020 — on my birthday, no less — I took the plunge and opened my Etsy shop: PAPERTESS DESIGNS. With no business experience, just a love for paper and a growing collection of inserts, I began offering printable designs I poured my heart into.

The Sale That Changed Everything

I still remember the thrill of my first sale. Someone, somewhere, had chosen my design to help organize their life — and that meant everything.

Soon, more orders came in, and with them, messages from customers who felt more inspired and motivated using my inserts. That’s when I knew — I was onto something special.

When Ideas Became Paper

As my small business grew, so did my dreams. I wanted to create not just digital products, but high-quality, tangible stationery — planners and notebooks that felt as good as they looked.

By 2022, I took the next big step: I expanded into physical products and launched my own Shopify shop — my very own corner of the internet. It was a whole new experience, full of learning curves and challenges, but one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made.

Holding my first printed product was a full-circle moment: what began at my dining table during nap times had become something real. And every time I see someone using a PAPERTESS planner — filling it with their goals and dreams — I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

Today, PAPERTESS DESIGNS is more than a brand — it’s a space for people who want to bring order and creativity into their lives.
