I accumulated our most frequently asked questions for you here. 

ORDERS

You can shop without creating an account. However, if you register with us, you’ll enjoy the following benefits:

  • • Track your orders and review past purchases
  • • Save your address and card details so you can shop even quicker in future
  • • Manage your address book and email settings

The prices on our website are shown in Euro (€). You can check the prices for example in Dollar ($), Pound (£) or any other currency by changing the currency in the bottom-left corner of the webpage. Please note that these currencies are for indication purposes only. You will be billed in Euro, and the exchange rate on the moment of your purchase may differ as they are not updated in real time.

We currently offer the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paypal.
All non-Paypal methods are offered through the highly secure Shopify/Stripe platform.

If you've changed your mind and you wish to cancel your order, you have 24 hours from when your order is placed to reach out to me for a full refund.
After you've  received a shipping notification a cancellation won't be possible anymore. 

Thank you for placing an order. If you saw something you would like to add to your pending order or wish to combine orders to save on shipping costs, feel free to reach out to me BEFORE placing another order.
I will then send you a custom invoice. 
However, if you've already placed separate orders and wish to combine them I will NOT be able to refund you the shipping for your second order. 

Shop orders are processed and shipped within 3 business days (excluding weekends & holidays). During peak holidays, sales, and new product releases, the processing time may be up to 15 business days. Please note that processing time is the time spent preparing your order prior to shipment, it does NOT include shipping and delivery times.

To reset your password, follow the 'Forgot Your Password?' instructions on the SIGN IN page. We'll then send you an email so you can create a new password and start shopping again.

SHIPPING

Please ensure all shipping information is correct as once your order got fullfilled, I will be no longer able to change it. I am not responsible for "late" delivery, lost, stolen or damaged packages.

All shipping options and cost are provided at checkout based on your location and weight of your order. Your order is always carefully packaged and delivered with tracking.


all shipping prices depend on the country of delivery, and the weight of the product and will be automatically generated at checkout. 

Please be advised that international customers are responsible for any taxes, customs, duties and/or any other fees that may be charged at the destination country. I have no influence on these fees and cannot predict their amount, as customs regulations differ considerably among countries. I am not responsible for any delays due to customs.

We only use shipping options that provide a trackingnumber, so you can follow your orders directly and be ready for when your package is expected to arrive.

All shipping times are ESTIMATED.

Domestic shipments are shipped via DHL:

  • • Standard tracked: 1 - 4 business days  - €6
  • • Express shipping - 1-2 business days - €19
  • • FREE Standard shipping with tracking on orders €100 +

Delivery time for international shippings vary based on carrier and destination country.
All orders are shipped via DHL International

  • • Express tracked: 2 - 5 business days
  • • Premium tracked: 7 - 30 buisness days*
  • • Priority Mail tracked: 7 - 40 business days**

International orders are shipped via DHL or UPS depending on selections at checkout (if applicable). International shipping time frames vary based on courier and destination country.

    ATTENTION: the tracking information when choosing this method will take longer to update.

*Please allow 30 days for international shipping. Some packages can show sitting in transit for a few days prior to delivery. Sometimes overseas-items can be held in customs for a longer period of time (on a bad occasion up to 2 months).
I am not responsible for any delays or late deliveries caused by customs. I am not responsible for lost packages that are deemed as delivered.

**This more affordable shipping option is offered to any purchases that weigh under 1000g. Please keep in mind that this option is meant for small/light weight orders. If you plan to make a bigger purchase, please use either the Express or Premium Standard Tracked shipping method.

Once your order has left us, you’ll receive an email with your tracking information so you can follow its progress. You can also check the status of your delivery by viewing My Orders in your account.

INFO: once your package leaves Germany it will be handed over and distributed through your countries postal service. You'll be able to use the same tracking number given by DHL to track it through your local postal service (e.g. USPS, Royal Mail, Auspost, etc.)

  • • Please note the current processing times. 
  • • Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email notification with a tracking number
  • • Once your packag leaves Germany it will be forwarded and handled by your local carrier e.g. USPS, Bpost, etc.)
  • • If your tracking says your package is in transit, it means, that your order is still on it's transport way. If you would like to get more precise information, please contact DHL or your local carrier with your tracking number. 
  • • If your tracking says your package was delivered but it did not show up, you can take the following steps:
    • 1. Check your shipping address to make sure the address is your correct and current address.
    • 2. Check with your neighbors to make sure it wasn’t delivered to the wrong place/unit or that it wasn’t delivered in an obscure part of your home, i.e the porch.
    • 3. Contact your local carrier with your tracking number and they can inform better on the status and/or location of your package.

Please allow 30 days for international shipping. Some packages can show sitting in transit for days prior to delivery.

Sometimes the tracking information does not always update in the system and/or skips updating until it arrives for scanning at the next DHL location. 
That does NOT mean your package got lost. Please give it some more time to arrive. 

If your package still hasn't arrived after the timeframe stated above please contact me through customercare@papertessdesigns.com and I will file a claim with DHL. I will NOT be replacing lost orders/refunding them before the package has returned to me or before DHL confirmed that the package got lost. 

If your tracking indicates that your order has been returned to sender, please send me an email at customercare@papertessdesigns.com with your order number and I will check the status. If the address needs to be updated (i.e, adding a missing apartment number, wrong street name), your order can be resent after additional shipping costs have been paid.

Again, when typing in your information during checkout, please make sure to fill in the designated spaces correctly as the system automatically generates the shipping labels from the information given by you. 

RETURNS + REFUNDS

  • • I accept returns when notified within 14 days of delivery and when received back within 30 days of delivery.
  • • To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be in their original condition: unused and in its original packaging. 
  • • The shipping costs for the return are the responsibility of the customer. The original and return shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • • To start a return, kindly email me at customercare@papertessdesigns.com.
  • • Once I have received the returned items and have inspected them, I will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s) and, if compliant, that we are issuing the refund.
  • • Please allow up to 5 business days for your return to be processed.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Once we have received and inspected your return, you will receive an email confirming your refund. You'll be automatically refunded to the original payment method. The refund will NOT include the original shipping cost.

Please note that the refund timeframe may vary between payment providers depending on the payment method and processing time:

  • • Credit card: Our bank will refund the amount to your account within 10 working days after receipt of your items.
  • • PayPal: The refund will appear in your PayPal account within 24 hours of sending your return email.

If your order was shipped within the EU, VAT will be included in your refund. Outside the EU, customs duties and VAT are non-refundable.

Simply email customercare@papertessdesigns.com and I’ll look into this for you. When you get in touch with me, please provide your order number and photographs of your item. Please be aware that items which have been damaged as a result of normal wear and tear, by accident, or your own misuse, will not be considered faulty. 

WHAT DOES IMPERFECT MEAN?


Some items my show sign of imperfections. This does NOT mean, that they are not as a functional as a 1st quality item. 
These "imperfections" show only flaws such as:

  • • dents (mainly on the corners)
  • • scratches on cover and / or the (foiled) edges
  • • uneven foiling
  • • unequal margins
  • • slightly crooked pages

ATTENTION: a gap between cover and spine does NOT qualify as a quality issues as it doesn't effect the stability and functionality of the spine at all
