Lovley to write in anfd good kvalité.

This little chonk of a book is darling. It is so pretty, and I love that the cover is smooth so I can accent the color with decorations. With great effort and a hairdryer, I got a Hobonichi Weeks cover to fit it so I can keep it pristine and have my pen handy, and I'm writing a book in it. It gives me great pleasure to sit down with it each night and fill it up more, as the paper quality is perfect, and because of the grid I can not only keep my lines neat but write across both pages as if it were twice as wide. It I both satisfying and easy to read.
I never have been able to figure out what made it 2nd quality. The only thing that might improve it is page numbers, but that's truly minor. (My book is going so well I bought a second notebook so I can keep going!)
I will definitely buy this again.

I knew Tomoe river paper is thin but I didn't expect this notebook to be the thickness of a regular notebook (like a 200 page leuchtturm) while holding 400 pages. Big selling point for me personally! If you don't like ghosting (seeing your writing on the backside of the paper) then this type of paper/notebook isn't for you, I think it adds a lot of charm to my journaling.

I got the B quality notebook as I figured the faults wouldn't be too bothersome to me and make them a lil more affordable and I'm glad I did. The margins are uneven on the sides, the edging isn't perfectly neat, but none of that affects the part of the notebook that matters to me. The grid is good and intact, small as I prefer it, similar to that of Hobonichi.

The paper handles fountain pens well enough, just don't do super heavy swatches or go over the same spot multiple times, as those were the only instances I had some bleed through, but overall I'd say very well behaved. Do watch out if you have very oily hands/skin, the paper may turn a little ink resistant in spots you've touched the paper with oily fingers. I bypass this issue by using a piece of cardstock or blotter paper, but this can happen to a variety of papers and isn't unique to this notebook.

It fits inside my Galen Leather B6 cover without any issue, and i will look forward to filling this up in 2025!

Weeks Size Grid Notebook - 400 pages

I absolutely adore this notebook. It's beautiful with lot of pages yet so lightwight! The only downsize I can tell that the numbers of grids are not ideal for dividing (22 horizontally and 42 vertically), but I can live with it.
